Kirby Smith, Principal and COO, started his career in insurance in 2013 working for a large regional insurance agency. There Kirby excelled, quickly becoming one of the highest-grossing revenue producers in the agency.

Kirby began specializing in ambulance services in 2016 and built the program to be a leading nationwide provider for the ambulance industry. Kirby has immersed himself in the ambulance industry by  becoming active in multiple associations and advocating for his clients within the insurance marketplace.

In addition to his specialty in ambulance services insurance, Kirby is also well-versed in insuring contractors. Kirby’s understanding of the specific challenges faced in regards to risk management for contractors has allowed him to provide unique insights into the creation, implementation and service of commercial insurance programs for contractors.

Away from work Kirby enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing basketball, golf, and watching sports. Kirby and his family reside in North Georgia.

Kirby is a graduate of the University of North Georgia with a BBA in Finance. During his time at UNG, Kirby was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
