Thomas Louie, Principal and CEO, began his insurance career in 2007 as an underwriter at an insurance company wholly focused on the trucking industry.  It was there that he gained valuable insight into the transportation industry and best practices for insurance coverages that protect trucking companies.

This foundational knowledge prepared him for a successful journey as the highest-grossing revenue producer for seven consecutive years at a large retail insurance firm.

Previous to founding LPS, Thomas was integral in the assemblance of a large transportation practice where he procured insurance carrier partnerships and was responsible for sales leadership.

Thomas enjoys thinking critically about his trucking clients’ business and providing creative solutions that span traditional insurance to captive insurance programs.

Away from work, Thomas enjoys fly fishing, hunting and other outdoor pursuits.  Thomas and his wife, Laura Lane, are blessed with two daughters, Ann Carter and Camille. The family resides in Greenville, SC.

Thomas is a graduate of Furman University with a BS-Biology.
